Big bank balance is not always required when travelling. Actually, I had some of the best trips even with a very limited budget. I can recall how I used to travel by bus on the weekend with only a backpack and some snacks and about Rs.2000 in my pocket. It helped me remember that it is the experience that matters when you are traveling rather than hotels or even costly restaurants.

And, in case you possess a dream to learn new places, but you do not want to spend a lot, this list is what will suit you best. These are the top 10 cheap places to travel in 2025, no matter whether you are a student, a solo-traveler, or someone who is saving money and still wants to have an adventure.

1. Bali, Indonesia

Bali may appear to be a costly destination, but it can be quite cheap provided that you are not stupid about it. One can find clean hostels, tasty street foods and inexpensive scooters to travel to the beaches, rice terraces and temples. 5. Thailand
